We’re excited to announce the return of our Warm Welcome Scheme which will run from Monday 2 September 2024 to 31 March 2025!

Thanks to funding from Neath Port Talbot Council, we’ll offer free hot drinks, biscuits, essential food packs, and hot water bottles to library visitors in need.

FREE Hot Drink + Biscuits

To offer a warm and welcoming space for all visitors, the library will provide complimentary hot beverages and biscuits. Tea, coffee, and hot squash will be available to enjoy in our comfortable seating areas.

FREE Essential Food and Drink Packs

To provide essential support for our community, we are offering free food and drink packs to all visitors. Each pack contains the basics to prepare warm food and drink. The bags will contain items such as tea, coffee, hot chocolate, milk, sugar, porridge, soup, pasta, rice and noodles.

FREE Hot Water Bottles

To offer additional support to our community during these challenging times, we are providing free hot water bottles. We understand the importance of staying warm, especially during colder months. While supplies are limited, we encourage those in need to collect one from the library.

This scheme has been made possible by the NPT Council managed Shared Prosperity Fund Warm Welcome Spaces Fund.
