🎉✨ We’re incredibly proud to share that our Chair of Trustees, Luke Coles, has been awarded a Volunteer Award in the Community Libraries Network Awards 2025! 🎉📚💫

Luke is being recognised for his outstanding contribution to volunteering – not only for the difference he makes at Taibach Community Library and in our local community ❤️🏘️, but also for his impact across the wider libraries sector in England and Wales. 🌍📖

This award reflects over a decade of dedication. Luke has been involved with Taibach Community Library since the charity was founded in May 2014 and now serves as our Chair of Trustees, helping guide, support and strengthen Taibach Community Library through many important milestones. 💪📚💛

🏆 The awards ceremony will take place online in December, where Luke will officially receive his award. The Community Libraries Network Awards celebrate the achievements of individuals, teams and organisations across the community library sector – recognising excellence and best practice in six award categories. 🌟🏅📘

🗣️ Luke said: “It’s been a privilege to be part of Taibach Community Library for so many years and to see how it continues to bring people together. When I first started volunteering at the library back in 2014, I never imagined how much this place would come to mean to me. I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who’s supported the library over the years – this award is really a tribute to our whole team.”
